Taoist Moonlight Gongs are hand lathed, not machine lathed. Because of this, they will have an artisanal quality to them.
In the deep, pitch black of night, under the Taoist Moonlight you can see the Way, the rhythm of the Universe. You can watch it flowing, pushing through the darkness of matter and material nature, leading you forward. Like the classic Chau gong, it is deep and balanced. The tone is focused by the rim. The lathed portion of the gong adds musicality and complexity to the overtones and the crash. Ahh, bathe in the moonlight.
